Its amazing they havent fixed this yet... Cant go 15 seconds without the app crashing... Okay, make it a pay app and fix it! I love the sports page, being a transplanted New Yorker, but this is ridiculous!

I like the sports section best. The paper tells what is going on.

No nonsense like its home town. Quickly gets to the story, I dont have patience for stupidity like you find in its nearest competitor. Keeps me informed when Im away from the Big Apple.

Like this app but I cant even read a headline without it crashing and closing. Ending up using other apps because of it. Must be a way to fix this because it is so ridiculously bad!

Do not waste your time getting this app it crashes constantly, you cant even get through one article and support is horrible they never respond to support questions

There should be options on what you want to read. Sports section only reads about football and baseball 24/7, even when not in season

Nothing special. Glad they fixed the bug that caused it to crash all the time

App has not functioned for weeks. Cannot access the paper. Repeated emails requesting help have not been answered.

The original app from about 2 years ago was better. Since then, every "new" app has been problematic.

Junk always pushing their agenda this is not news its what is wrong with the world

More stable than earlier versions

This app never works. It hasnt worked from the beginning. I cannot ever download. Black screens. Freezes my iPad. How can it remain so bad with so many bad reviews and it never gets fixed. Small town newspapers load perfect every time. No wonder this paper is in financial trouble with terrible quality and service. Why do I have to give it any stars. Give it a million negative stars. I cannot download again. When are you finally going to fix this problem. This app is a disaster.

This app crashes every single time I open it up. I then have to reopen, read a few articles, and watch it crash again. I guess the cost cutting at the News that included laying off Hall of Fame sportswriter Bill Madden also included laying off competent tech people. Instead we get a racist fraud of a hack writer like Shaun King and Jr HS quality tech support that couldnt figure out a game of Pong.

This app crashes constantly. The content always has misspell words. Why bother?

You cant get through the first 2 sentences of an article without crashing every single time! Why have an app if it doesnt work? Shame on you!

I would give it no stars if I could. App crashes all the time. Most mornings the paper does not arrive till 730 am. When you contact tech support their only solution is to delete the app and reinstall it. Ive only done that about 100 times.

App crashes and then when it reopens it goes back to stories from 2 days before. It is basically unusable. Constantly crashes.

They sent me a fix and it doesnt work! I called and e mailed the daily news, after all I pay for the newspaper! Still doesnt work, it goes back to picture of the days edition! Please fix? It is only happening on the weekends when you can not speak to anyone! I subscribe to several other newspapers and have never had any trouble!
